Escape the Pyramid
Project Summary
ETP is an on-line kids game which was created to promote Random House Books for Kids adolescent fiction book series and acted as a tie-in for the feature film "The Mummy Returns" (Universal Pictures). The non-violent maze-style game was targeted for ages 6-10 with a playing time of 3-5 minutes and included graphics and sound. The user experience for modem users was important, so the spec called for the game to not exceed 250KB in size. We came in at about 150KB. Also somewhat notable is that all animation is done programmatically - no motion tweens!
